陋室铭
A mountain is famous not becouse it is high,but it has spirit dwelling in it.A well is efficacious not becouse it is deep but it has dragon hiding in it.No matter how humble my drawing-room is,the fragrance of my virtues has brightened it.
Look!The moss has already dyed the steps green! The reflex light of the grass through the bamboo curtain has colored my room a shadowy blue!Free talks mingled with merry laughter burst out from the room mow and then;
not a single vulgarian in my friends,they are all learned scholars.
Sometimes we play ancient strings and sometimes we enjoy ourselves with the delightful books.There are not any decadent musics to bore our brains to numb,nor office correspondences to tired our bodies to death.
Oh!I always long for Zhu Geliang's thatched cottage,I always yearn for Yang Ziyun's pavilion as well.I fancy they were just as humble as mine,weren't they?Confucius says,"What harm will it be to the plainness?"
